There are some summer safety traps that all parents need to avoid, according to the nation’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to protecting children from harmful toys.

World Against Toys Causing Harm, Inc. (W.A.T.C.H.) presented its 2015 Summer Safety Report at Franciscan Hospital for Children in Boston on Tuesday.

This year’s report highlighted warm weather safety traps and recreational products that parents should avoid. Toy safety trends were also addressed since more than 2.5 million children are injured in accidents each summer.

W.A.T.C.H. believes that with increased parental awareness, the number of injuries can be significantly reduced.
